BY CAR
From North: take the A3 Motorway (Direction Salerno-Reggio Calabria), exit at ‘ Buonabitacolo-Padula’ and continue on the SS19 towards ’Sapri’. Continue on the SS517 for Sapri, then follow the signs for ‘Maratea-Acquafredda’ until you see the sign for “Hotel Villa Cheta Elite”.
From South: take the A3 Motorway (Direction Salerno-Reggio Calabria), exit at’ Falerna’ and continue along the SS18 towards Salerno. Exit the SS18 at ‘Maratea-Sapri ‘, then follow the signs to ‘Sapri-Acquafredda’ until you see the sign for “Hotel Villa Cheta Elite”. The Hotel offers even the valet parking service.
BY TRAIN
The fast trains “Freccia Rossa” which connect Rome to Northern and Southern Italy, arrive at Sapri or Maratea train stations which are 10 minutes far from the hotel *. From the stations take a taxi or bus to arrive at the Hotel Villa Cheta Elite in Acquafredda, Maratea.

From Naples airport (199 Km) you can rent a car, take the A3 Motorway (Direction Salerno-Reggio Calabria), exit at ‘ Buonabitacolo-Padula’ and continue on the SS19 towards ’Sapri’. Continue on the SS517 for Sapri, then follow the signs for ‘Maratea-Acquafredda’ until you see the sign for “Hotel Villa Cheta Elite”.
From Lamezia Terme airport (148 Km) you can rent a car, take the A3 Motorway (Direction Salerno-Reggio Calabria), exit at’ Falerna’ and continue along the SS18 towards Salerno. Exit the SS18 at ‘Maratea-Sapri ‘, then follow the signs to ‘Sapri-Acquafredda’ until you see the sign for “Hotel Villa Cheta Elite”
BY BOAT
Dock at the ports of Maratea or Sapri which are 10 minutes far from the hotel *. From the port take a taxi or bus to arrive at the Hotel Villa Cheta Elite in Acquafredda, Maratea.

BY BUS:
The “SITA” bus connects the hotel to Acquafredda and the surrounding district. The buses are frequent and stop just at the hotel entrance.
BOOKING AND DEPOSIT
Thank you for having visited our website. For a definitive reservation, we require a deposit equal to the 30% of the total amount of the stay. The deposit can be done via bank transfer specifying the reservation references: Banca Popolare di Bari, Filiale di Maratea – Via Garibaldi, 19/21 – 85046 Maratea (PZ), BIC/SWIFT BPBAIT3BXXX, IBAN: IT86 F054 2442 0600 0000 2400 253. Otherwise we would like to inform you that we reserve the right to pre-authorize credit cards as per our cancellation policy stated above within 30 days before the date of arrival; in case we have not received the deposit in time, the room will be made re-available for booking.
ARRIVAL
The Hotel staff will be informed about your arrival and will be available to accompany you in the room, after having helped you with the luggage and even parked your car. In order to make your arrival as smooth as possible, we kindly ask you to inform us of your estimated time of arrival and your mobile telephone number.
CAR PARKING
Please note that your car will be safe in our free car parking, which is monitored but not guarded.
CHECK IN/CHECK OUT
Your room is ready for check in after 3:00 p.m. on the day of your arrival, while the check out time is within 11:00 a.m. on the day of your departure .
SMOKE-FREE AT THE SEASIDE
Take a deep breath, without pollution or city smog: Villa Cheta also implements its deep respect for nature within its building. Therefore, we kindly ask our guests to refrain from smoking in the rooms, the restaurant, the swimming pool area as well as in all corridors and lounges. Thank you very much for your understanding.
INTERNET ACCESS
In all rooms there is free Wi-Fi connection and guests can have the access code from the Reception. This service is free.
DOGS
Your dog is welcome! There is not a better place to make it run free. Please understand that dogs are not allowed in the breakfast room, in the restaurant, in the swimming pool and in common areas. In order to avoid any inconvenience to other guests, we allow a maximum of 3 dogs at one time in Villa Cheta. For your pet we charge 15,00 Euro per day without food. We would like to inform you that according to the Italian law, dogs are required to wear a muzzle while passing through common areas.
SPA BOOKINGS
Have you already looked into our webpage “Beautiful Life”? We kindly suggest you to book the treatments before your arrival and if you have to give up them for any reason, we ask you to please cancel the reserved treatment within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment. In the event of a short term cancellation, we will charge the regular fee.
IN LOW SEASON
In this period you can inhale even more intensely the calm atmosphere in the Villa Cheta and in the surrounding nature.
For cancellations notified up to 14 days before the date of arrival there is no penalty fee.
For cancellation notified between 13 and 7 days before the date of arrival there is a penalty fee equal to the 50% of the total amount of the reservation.
For cancellations notified within 6 days before the date of arrival there is a penalty fee equal to the 100% of the amount of the reservation.
For long stays, multiple bookings and reservations during peculiar seasons, we require a non-reimbusable deposit, so the hotel reserves the right to implement a different reservation/cancellation/deposit policy which is different from the one mentioned previously.
The different cancellation policy will be notified immediately upon confirmation. In any case the hotel reserves the right to require a not refundable deposit equal to 30% of the total amount of any reservation.
In case of no-show, modification or curtailment of the stay notified starting from the date of arrival onwards there is a penalty fee equal to the 100% of the amount of the confirmed reservation.
All the modifications of the original reservation notified within penalty times which have been described before, are subject to the same penalty conditions before listed, so the same penalty fee will be applied to the days being the object of modifications. Penalty fees will be charged on the credit card provided by guests doing reservation with concomitant authorization to withdraw. The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorize the indicated credit card as guarantee. We suggest to stipulate a travelling insurance. We are always available for any information and explanations.
We would like to inform you that the town city tax, which is Euro 4,00 per person per day (children under 15 are exempted and it’s applied up to a maximum of 5 consecutive days of stay), is not included in the rates and it will be paid on departure”.
According to Italian law, cash payments up to the amount of 4,999.00 Euro can be made.
