Anginarra Beach

The  Anginarra beach is one of the largest and most beautiful beaches on the coast of Maratea.  More than two hundred meters of sandy shoreline that is wedged into one of the most beautiful stretches of coast, flanked by a rocky cliff where is the homonymous cave where they have been found the remains of Pleistocene fauna. His name is greek and means “full of sea urchins”.

Acquafredda di Maratea: a breathtaking coast with steep cliffs, caves and romantic bays. We suggest to visit Anginarra, Luppa, Porticello and Grotta della Scala, the most characteristic beaches in the area separated by a small barrier reef. The first three beaches, equipped with parking and bathing facilities, are associated with the Romantic Hotel Villa Cheta.
